IC443 & M35 Mosaic
#1 IC443 LRGB+Ha 3x600/each for a total of 2.5 hours
#2,3,4 M35 LRGB 3x300 each per panel for 3.0 hours

Below is a map of the mosaic region, inside the rectanglar box.
At the lower center is the star Propus (7-n). It is a red giant star,magnitude 3.23 located about 350 light-years from our solar system.
Immediately to the left, the red nebulosity is IC 443 the Jellyfish Nebula. It is a 3,000-30,000 year old supernova remnant located 5,000 light years away.
In the upper right is M35, the 35th object in Charles Messier's catalog. This open cluster of stars is also known as NGC2168. It is located 2,800 light years away.
Slightly below M35 is a small open cluster known as NGC2158 located 11,000 light years away.
